My not being able to throw the red pikmin far enough in the forest of hope has turned into a nightmare in the final trial. I am unable to throw the bomb carrying pikmin over to the bridge like you do in the video - they land in the water. Is there a trick to this? I’ve searched online and do not see where anyone else has this problem. I can get them to the bombs without any issues. Why can’t I throw them far enough? Do you use something other than the a button to throw them? Can’t believe I got this far and am not completely stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

clueless as to how you throw the reds that far, both across the water and the box. what am I missing?

How are you throwing pikmin so far on the switch version? On my switch, i cant clear the first gap to first island in the pond in forest of hope. I have throw them in the water and whistle between each throw to get to both islands.

I played pikmin 3 deluxe and pikmin 4 and 2 but in this mode it was easy so I thought huh maybe I can beat it in pikmin 1? boy was I wrong because I lost a lot of pikmin grew some back but didn’t finish I had to revisit the areas I been to to finish getting all the ship parts bet I won’t finish it I maybe have 10 or more or less.

got through most of it by the skin of my teeth. come to the final challenge, try three times and got the purple dirtbag only within 30 seconds.... i think to myself 'uh oh. i'm going to need to use a youtube tutorial.' nurse my pride (only takes about 5 seconds) and then suddenly it's very clear as to why i was failing it. i would've never thought of just taking it along with me.... this is why i'm not the one making these videos. well done mate, thank you for your help. i would've been adhd-locked onto this for hours. now i might be able to finish my homework before 4am !!!
